From Incheon Airport to the City

As entry procedures to Korea
have been eased, we believe more people
are planning to visit Korea 💕

Depending on the airline, you may arrive at different airports,
and many of you may be concerned
about how to get to the city from each airport

Today, we’ll introduce transportation options
from Incheon Airport to Seoul Station ✨

First, let’s talk about AREX,

which many of you use 🚈
AREX is the Airport Railroad that connects
Incheon Airport Terminal 1 & 2 and Gimpo Airport to the city ✨
Here’s how to get to the AREX station.

After you exit the arrival gate, you’ll see various signs.

Just follow the signs for Airport Railroad (공항철도)☺️✨
Please be aware that platforms for the All-stop Train and the Express Train
are on different sides 🙏

The All-stop Train stops at every station
and can be used with a T-money card

You can also use the NAMANE card with a transportation card function
The Express Train goes non-stop to Seoul Station ✨

It takes about 58 minutes to Seoul Station on the All-stop Train,
and 43 minutes on the Express Train‼️

For the Express Train, go toward the Express platform.
You will see a ticket machine like the one in the photo above.
You can select your language,
so choose English, and select the time and seat you want☺️

Once the purchase is complete,
scan the QR code on your ticket
at the gate and proceed to the platform.

Then, go to the designated seat printed on your ticket at the correct time 🙋‍♀️
e.g., Car 3, Seat 5A

For the All-stop Train,
go to the corresponding platform
and either charge your transportation card
or buy a single-use ticket 🎫

You can also take an airport bus to the city 🚎
You can purchase tickets from unmanned kiosks inside the airport
or from ticket counters near the bus stops.

Tell them your destination,
and they will issue a ticket for you 🙋‍♀️🎫
They will also guide you to the correct boarding area.

One important note 💥
Since many people use personal cars during rush hour in Korea,
there can be heavy traffic in the morning and from around 4 PM.
If you have an urgent appointment,
we recommend using the Airport Railroad 🚈✨
